WordPress builds

Using wordpress to create a flexible, adaptable web presence for small businesses and charities.

While I have extensive experience working with content heavy sites with very diverse audiences, I also work with charities, startups and small businesses, where I specialise in creating an online presence that allows them to manage their own site and content. I aim to create a site that works for their business now, and that can grow with them into the future.

Over the years I have found using wordpress best meets these needs. I use my own base theme, created from the underscores starter theme, that I adapt to different client needs.

She Creates Union

Creating a simple, easy to manage site that allowed us to highlight our members, mission and events information. We wanted to provide a single space for the wider community to discover their local makers and creators.

Yacht Adina

Adina is a Hylas 46 – a 14 metre blue water cruiser. Since 2013 she’s been home to Tom and Susie, two explorers sailing around the world.

Their original blog was picked up and featured in many sailing and related publications. As a results they wanted a new site design that better reflected their style. The site needed to be clear, clean and modern. It would also better highlight their route and sailing notes.
