Hotcourses.com is the flagship site of Hotcourses Ltd, a publishing company in west London. The site has historically been a course search site allowing users to find courses and colleges online. It was relaunched in October 06 as a community based site that, as well as finding courses, also allows users to review courses, build an online profile, create and join groups and meet people with similar interests.

hotcourses foundation
The Hotcourses Foundation was set up in 2004 to help fund the education of some of the most deprived children in the developing world. It has been successful in sponsoring the education of over 100 children so far and has also built and agreed to fund a school in a new development outside Nairobi, Kenya.

e-marketing
For Christmas 2005 Hotcourses launched an e-marketing campaign. The brief was to increase user activity on two sites - www.hotcourses.com and www.studentmoney.org - during the normally quiet Christmas period. The newsletters below where my interpretation of the brief provided and proved very successful in driving traffic to the sites.
